ASPTOKEN is used for the second level: The bank's access verification system uses ASPTOKEN to send a unique SMS-code to the customer's mobile phone. If the correct code is returned, access is granted.

The procedure is very simple:
- Request the SMS-code: You can either send your own SMS-code or tell ASPTOKEN to generate one according to your desired format pattern (mask).
- Send the SMS-code: The SMS-code is sent via mobile networks to the mobile phone of the person to be authenticated and who enters the SMS-code into your web form.
- Verify the SMS-code: You check the validity of the received SMS-code at ASPTOKEN.
