Because of a technical malfunction (disruption of a fibre optic cable) at one of our Backbone-Providers our systems were not reachable starting from 10.50 o clock and it was not possible to send SMS. The failure was identified and fixed. Since 12:41 o clock all systems are accessible and sending SMS works faultless.

The reason for this planned work is:
They have to carry out emergency maintenance work,
because of the outage 2 days ago. The faulty equipment
will be totally exchanged. They are not able to
postpone this planned maintenance due to security
reasons. A new outage could occur.
Max downtime per Service: 2 hours.
No SMS can be sent during downtime.

transaction infrastructure, it was possible, that some
short messages, sent to 004178 Orange Switzerland
mobile numbers during the time period from 23.01. to
02.02.2009 might not have been properly delivered.
The problem is solved in the meantime.
