This is how it works - create a Power Automate workflow with ASPSMS

Basically, creating a workflow is very easy - Microsoft Copilot can also help if required.

1. Login Microsoft Power Automate: https://make.powerautomate.com/
   
   If you don't have an account yet, create a free account
   
   
2. select a template with the ASPSMS plugin: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/aspsms/ or create your own workflow
   
   
3. Trigger App: select the web application that triggers the action, for example your appointment calendar.
   
   
4. Trigger event: log in to the trigger application and select the event that is to trigger the action, e.g. a new appointment. The corresponding options are displayed.
   
   
5. App action: now select the ASPSMS plug-in as the action (search: "ASPSMS")
   
   
6. App & event: select "Send SMS" as the event
   
   
7. Account: log in with the ASPSMS API UserKey and the API password
   (to be found in your ASPSMS account/login: Menu: "API credentials")

8. To: Now just enter the cell phone number of the SMS recipient including the country code e.g. for CH: 00417XXXXXXXXXX)
   
   
9. Message: select the text modules, e.g. date & time and the title of the canceled meeting

The workflow can now be tested and, if everything is ok, published in Power Automate.
